## What it provides

- Provider-neutral funding quotes ranked by guaranteed output.
- Unsigned wallet requests; the SDK never holds keys or signs transactions.
- A resumable state machine for interrupted and in-flight transfers.
- Remote provider support so applications can keep API credentials server-side.
- Solana settlement verification and a shared provider conformance suite.
- Optional continuation into a Solana application action after confirmed funding.

## What it is not

Stablecoin Rail is not a bridge, validator network, custodian, token issuer, or required hosted service. Circle CCTP, LayerZero, Mayan, and other provider plugins remain responsible for transport. The rail standardizes the application integration and verification layer.

## Current evidence

- Seven public npm packages are published with provenance attestations.
- The repository documents 226 deterministic tests.
- Ethereum USDC to Solana USDC through Circle CCTP V2 has one public mainnet proof.
- The core package has zero runtime dependencies.

## Current limitations

The project is an alpha and has not completed an independent security review. The Ethereum CCTP route is the only route with a published end-to-end mainnet proof. Other routes are implemented but unproven or gated. Consult the status document before testing with real funds.
